2010 Tournament Detail

To compete in the Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 America's Cup Tournament, participants must first take part in their country's National Championship. For 2010, there will be National Championship tournaments in the United States and Canada (combined), Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. In order to participate, step one is to register for your country's National Championship.

2010 National Championship Tournament Round Regional Qualifier Detail

Round One of each National Championship is called the Round One Regional Qualifier. Each country has between four and six Round One Regional Qualifiers. Each Round One Regional Qualifier is an online tournament. Players will register in their home country, and are matched up with another player in their geographic region to compete in their Round One Regional Qualifier.

In each Round One Regional Qualifier, players compete in a head-to-head competition until ultimately only one winner is left standing. There can only be one and only one Round One Regional Qualifier winner, so bring your best game to every match. In all Round One Regional Qualifier play all competition is single elimination. Each Round One Regional Qualifier winner is invited to participate in their country's 2010 Pro Evolution Soccer National Championship.

2010 National Championship Tournament Finals

The National Championship Tournament Finals in each country is a best two-out-of-three Swiss Style Tournament between each Round One Regional Qualifier winner. In each National Championship Tournament Finals, each player plays one match against each Round One Regional Qualifier winner, scored as follows:

- Two points for a win
- One point for a tie
- No points for a loss

The players with the most points advance to the next round of play until there are only two participants remaining. These two players compete for their country's National Championship. Both finalists are eligible to compete in the Pro Evolution Soccer America's Cup Tournament and the right to send a second representative from their country to the Pro Evolution Soccer World Championship in Mallorca, Spain the weekend of September 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2010. The National Champion earns and automatic trip to play for the Pro Evolution Soccer World Championship.

The Pro Evolution Soccer World Championship Tournament is a first for Pro Evolution Soccer players from around the world. Representatives from countries from around the globe will compete in Mallorca, Spain the weekend of September 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2010 for the PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
